My husband and I hired George and Rod to play live music and DJ at our wedding, we were beyond happy with their performance!
I first heard them play at Roadhouse 38 and was sold on hiring them when I heard them sing Valerie by Amy Winehouse. My husband and I then went to see them together while they played a show in Melrose Park, and we agreed they were the ones!
Their communication through everything has been impeccable. They even went above and beyond their duties to capture amazing photos and videos of important and fun moments throughout the night. Their performance had everybody dancing and enjoying themselves.

We met George and Rod at my sister's backyard gig. We LOVE live music and loved their duo. We learned they have done weddings in the past. George and Rod were the perfect mix for our big day! Sound during our ceremony, live music during cocktail, and MC/DJ during our ceremony. We cannot begin to explain how amazing they are to work with!!! My husband and I met George and Rod in the summer of 2021 playing at Potters Place in downtown Naperville; we absolutely loved their vibe and their music. Since then, they have played at our home in the backyard twice...our annual crawfish boil 2022 and most recently our son's high school Grad Party. They are such great entertainers, easy to work with, and play to the crowd! I highly recommend them to anyone who loves to dance and have fun!

We had a wedding celebration for 120 people in our backyard. I found the musicians, GNR Duo, on Nextdoor. We hired them, and all my guests were blown away. They are wonderful guys to work with; they played and sang, and then DJed for dancing. Truly outstanding musicians.

I hired the GNR Duo to DJ a celebration of life luncheon last fall...what a professional, terrific outfit to work with! Rod coordinated with me to ensure the song selection was appropriate for the event, the setup and volume levels were perfect for our venue, and he even went the extra mile to find a few less popular songs that were special to our family. Set up and load out were on time and stress-free. I would absolutely hire this team again.
George and Rod handled our entire wedding, which was 3 separate setups. Audio during the outdoor ceremony. There was a live acoustic set at cocktail hour and then a full DJ set in our reception room. The word accommodating doesn't even begin to describe them. I continue to recommend these 2 for your private event or for establishments looking for entertainment. Top-notch guys.

We had GNR Duo play at our wedding celebration in August at our home. George was super great to work with; we met several weeks before our party to discuss what we were looking for. He was very personable, friendly, and excited to play for our party. The duo even learned how to play our wedding song at the request of my husband...I didn't know until they started playing it; what a great surprise! Everyone enjoyed the show, and we highly recommend having them.
